The statement above comes from one of the characters in Pyramids of Thrush Creek.  You probably recognized it as a reflection on the words of Jesus, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

When I consider these statements, I ask myself, “What is my treasure?  What is it that I am really looking for?”  I wonder why I want to paddle my canoe down a challenging rapids.  Why do I enjoy standing on a mountain top gazing at the scenery below?  Why do I enjoy writing about these things?  Where do my creative ideas come from?

Enough about me.  What about you?  What is it that you are looking for?  Is there some way I can help you?
