Henry youndt - author

Henry Youndt is a writer of Christian fiction with a touch of outdoor adventure. He has also written a book drawing inspiration from nature and outdoor sports, and has published his memoirs. Coming soon is a work of historical fiction in which he presents Biblical events from a novel point of view.

Henry lives in Lancaster County, PA, not far from where he grew up just outside of Adamstown. He is retired from a career in the woodworking industry, where he did jobs ranging from cabinetmaking to CNC programing and accounting. Henry Youndt has served as a church treasurer and elder. He has also been a farmhand, a hospital orderly, a truckdriver a seaman and an inventor.

  •    Henry Youndt began his writing career later in life. Youndt says, “For most of my life I neglected to develop or use this God-given talent. And it is only by His grace that I am able to do what I do.” He has now authored five novels, an inspirational book called, Eddies for Outdoorsmen, and his memoirs, entitled, A Father’s Hand.

    •         Henry Youndt draws heavily from his varied experiences in life to create a very realistic form of fiction.  He doesn’t like characters who are totally good or totally evil. “There is good and evil in each one of us,” he says.
